Detroit Red Wings suffer injury scare with captain Dylan Larkin on Friday against the Washington Capitals

The Detroit Red Wings have sadly been dealt some game-changing injury news this season involving multiple forwards, and on Friday fans endured another scare with captain Dylan Larkin exiting the game.
Before Rasmussen went down with his concussion, forward Andrew Copp underwent season-ending surgery
Things seem to have came crashing down during Friday's game, riding a four-game losing streak and the potential of losing Dylan Larkin to injury would certainly put the nail in the coffin for the Red Wings' odds at making the playoffs.
In a breath of fresh air, Larkin returned to the game, confirming he is indeed okay.
During post-game interviews, Larkin himself stated he is feeling just fine.

NHL continues to deal Red Wings missed calls on a nightly basis

This isn't Larkin's first rodeo at almost suffering an injury, alongside the referees not protecting their stars.
In the stadium-series game, a high stick call was missed and resulted in a Detroit loss.
Just a few games later, Larkin's head was nearly taken off by Carolina Hurricanes' Mikko Rantanen.
The Red Wings currently battle the NHL officials and three other teams in a tight Wild Card race.
