Since March 1st, the Detroit Red Wings have gone streaking, but for all the wrong reasons.

The Detroit Red Wings put up their best effort against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Horseshoe.
They'd work to tie the game, only to be abruptly scored on twice at the end, and lose the game on a call that should've been made against forward Justin Danforth.
Regardless, that time has passed and now it seems the team has hit a string of bad luck afterward.
They've gone 0-5 in their last five games played, which included teams they should've beaten (looking at the Utah HC right now).
If the Red Wings had a visual representation of how they've played the last four games, would look like this video below.
In the last game, they gave up 5 goals to the red-hot Washington Capitals, as they have fallen out of contention in the Eastern Conference. A spot they were sure to hold given the make up of the team before hand.
Now, it seems they've arguably gotten worse, as they waived Christian Fischer, and traded Joe Veleno for Craig Smith and Petr Mrazek.
Didn't we end that experiment in Detroit once already?
Regardless, the Detroit Red Wings and the Yzerplan aren't cooking right now.
Patrick Kane and Todd McLellan will have to find a way to inspire the kind of play that wins Stanley Cups.
Given that Kane has won three of them, he knows better than most in the organization how to find a way to win.
Showtime himself should consider being present, considering last season he scored 47 points in 51 games.
Now scoring only 40 in 53, a bit shy of where he could be production-wise, and another reason why the Wings continue to tank in the East.
