Red Wings announcement top priorities for the off-season
The Red Wings have a big list of priorities for this off-season which includes acquiring a top 6 forward and improving in the defensive end.
The team's number 1 priority is finding at least one new top 6 forward if not 2 as Patrick Kane and David Perron will be free agents even though there is a chance they re-sign.
The Wings will also be looking for a top 4 defenseman as Jeff Petry slowed down a lot this season and Detroit needs a stronger defenseman to replace him.
They will also need a bottom 6 forward to help out with physicality for next season as this was a big problem for the team this year.
Finally the last piece would be finding some help in nets as Alex Lyon and Ville Husso struggled last year which has put a lot of doubt into managements minds with this duo moving forward.
