Sportsnet confirms Jeff Marek's replacement with Elliotte Friedman on 32 Thoughts podcast
Kyle Bukauskas has officially been named the new co-host for 32 Thoughts: The Podcast alongside Elliotte Friedman following Jeff Marek's departure.
Sportsnet announced Thursday that it would mark a significant step in Kyle Bukauskas' career.
Kyle Bukauskas, a rinkside reporter for Sportsnet since 2016, is well known to NHL fans, particularly those of the Toronto Maple Leafs, as he frequently covers their games and conducts interviews during intermissions and post-game. This opportunity to join one of hockey's most popular podcasts represents a major career break for him.
Jeff Marek's departure from Sportsnet earlier this summer was reportedly linked to an incident at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft in Las Vegas. While Jeff Marek's next career move remains uncertain, Bukauskas will be stepping into a prominent role in the podcast world, continuing the legacy of in-depth hockey analysis on 32 Thoughts.
