Washington Capitals prospect Cam Allen has learned the 1st portion of his punishment after being arrested for drunken driving over the weekend.

Over the weekend, Washington Capitals prospect Cam Allen was arrested after a single car accident; he was under the influence of alcohol, and he also fled the scene.

Those who missed the initial details of the incident that took place on Saturday, take a look below at the release report from the London (Ontario) police:

He's scheduled to be brought up on charges on March 6; until then, the London Knights forward has been suspended until that date.

For those who missed the incident report from the London police, they released the following statement on Monday:

A London man was arrested yesterday morning after members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division responded to a running unoccupied vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a collision in the south end of the city.

On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., a citizen called 911 in relation to a single vehicle collision in the area of Colonel Talbot Road near Clayton Walk. Police were advised what appeared to be bl**d had been located on the driver's side door and leading away from the vehicle.

Officers arrived and located the vehicle. The driver was located and arrested a short distance away at a nearby address.

One of the passengers was transported by paramedic services to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Cameron Allen, 20, of London, is charged with the following offences:

Impaired operation of a conveyance; Impaired operation exceed blood alcohol concentration; Fail to remain; Fail to report accident; and, Novice driver- bl**d alcohol concentration above zero.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in London court on March 6, 2025, in relation to the charges.
