The Detroit Red Wings play the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena tonight, marking Coach Todd McLellan's 1st road game since taking over behind the bench.

The Detroit Red Wings are back in action tonight, facing the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena (7:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).

For head Coach Todd McLellan who was hired one week ago to replace the terminated Derek Lalonde, it will be his 1st road game after three straight games at Little Caesars Arena.

While the Red Wings dropped McLellan's inaugural game behind the bench 5-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs, they earned consecutive 4-2 wins over the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins.

The lineup for tonight's game has been confirmed via the official X account of the Red Wings; Moritz Seider and Simon Edvinsson remain split up, while Christian Fischer and Albert Johansson are scratched.

The aforementioned loss was McLellan's 1st game back behind the bench of the Red Wings, though he had just arrived the previous day and hadn't had the time to run a full practice with the club to implement his new system.
