Detroit Red Wings announced the return of one of their UFA
The Detroit Red Wings have signed players for their roster. Christian Fischer, a polyvalent forward known for his energy and penalty-killing abilities, has been re-signed to a one-year contract worth $1.125 million.
Fischer, 27, played a pivotal role alongside Andrew Copp and Michael Rasmussen last season, forming a solid checking and matchup line. With Fischer's return, the Red Wings have 11 forwards set for the 2024-25 season, including key names like Patrick Kane and Dylan Larkin and emerging talents like Lucas Raymond and Jonatan Berggren. Detroit aims to fill the remaining two spots as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
