ESPN reporter takes a bad tumble following an interview at the Stadium Series.

On Saturday March 1, the National Hockey League (NHL), held their first Stadium Series game of the season in Columbus, Ohio in front of nearly 90,000 hockey fans.
During the intermission, Marty Smith, a reporter for ESPN, would find himself taking a tumble during the interview.
Smith was interviewing members from the Ohio State football team, and it concluded with a bad injury.
The reporter asked some players from the team to lift him over the crowd and back behind them to where he had emerged from, they didn't hesitate and were very happy to do so.
As the players began to lift him up and over, they seemed as though it was easy to move him along, that was until the ESPN reporter fell right down into the crowd.
Smith could be heard from a distance uttering «sugar pie» as he hit the bleachers with a loud thud.
His reaction leads us to believe this tumble was not too serious, hopefully he didn't endure anything more than some bruises.
Despite Smiths reaction, any reporter would try their best to play off a situation like this and unfortunately, with the way he landed, he appeared to have been tilted in a way that suggested him falling on his head which could make the fall much worse.
«Need the concussion spotter to take a look at Marty Smith ASAP»
Here is a closer view of the fall:
Although there is no update on Smith's fall as of now, hopefully he wasn't terribly injured.
