Harden, a revered performance coach, profoundly impacted various sports figures, including his recent role with the Toronto Maple Leafs and his influential work with Michigan University.

Harden, who had been with the Maple Leafs since the start of the 2021-22 season, was instrumental in helping the team navigate through the aftermath of their heartbreaking playoff loss to the Montreal Canadiens. His work with elite athletes extended beyond hockey, with notable contributions to Tom Brady, Michael Phelps, Jim Harbaugh, Jalen Rose, and Desmond Howard.

The Toronto Maple Leafs expressed their deep sorrow over his passing, highlighting his positive influence on their team. Former Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe praised Harden as a "beautiful soul" whose support and encouragement made a significant difference.

Greg Harden is survived by his wife Shelia, sister Lynette, and children Brian, Victor, and Olivia. His passing is a tremendous loss to the sports community, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
