Nate Danielson was the ninth overall pick of the Detroit Red Wings in 2023, and he has been impressing his coaches and general manager, ever since.

Last season, Danielson was playing in the Western Hockey League where he ended up with 67 points in 54 games. Moreover, he got to play two playoff games with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League. It was a solid year for him, and now, he will be heading into Red Wings training camp looking for a spot on the team.

Although Danielson is expected to start the year down in the AHL, he is still confident that he can find his way into the Red Wings lineup.

"I believe in myself," Danielson told NHL.com. "I think I can make it.»

This is the kind of mentality that should make Red Wings fans excited. The team has needed someone who can come in and inject some offense, and a player with a winners mentality will truly invigorate the rest of the roster to be better.
