Red Wings' Andrew Copp further exposes major difference between Todd McLellan and Derek Lalonde

It's a considerable difference for the Detroit Red Wings under coach Todd McLellan than it was under Derek Lalonde, something Andrew Copp is pointing out.
The Detroit Red Wings were down but not out against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night.
Even though the visiting Kings took a 2-0 lead at Little Caesars Arena in the 1st period (which included an own-goal by Moritz Seider), the Red Wings instead stormed back with 5 unanswered goals, winning 5-2 for their 3rd straight win.
Under previous head coach Derek Lalonde, the Red Wings likely would have collapsed into a shell and allowed the Kings to continue pouring it on.
Things are now different under new head coach Todd McLellan, who has led Detroit to an 11-4 record since he was hired in Lalonde's place on December 26.
And it's something that hasn't gone unnoticed by Red Wings forward Andrew Copp, who can tell the clear difference in the message and tone of both coaches he's now played under with Detroit.
The (game) in Montreal (5-1 loss Dec. 21) after the tough loss the night before, usually a good team's going to respond. And that night, we did not respond, and we were not feeling good about ourselves. In the third period we're down 5-1, it just wasn't a lot of fight, there wasn't much pushback.

Copp made it clear that the differences in leadership between the previous coach and their current one is considerable.
I think he's got a clear, concise message. He's in command. Everything on video makes total sense. He's the one doing the video every time. So, he's got that presence.
