Pavel Datsyuk, 1/3 of the Famous "Two Kids and a Goat" line, has a special message for his former Detroit Red Wings teammate!

It was a special night at Little Caesars Arena last night, as the Detroit Red Wings not only delivered a thrilling win thanks to a Lucas Raymond goal with 52 seconds left but also honored a fan favorite.

Pavel Datsyuk, who won the Stanley Cup twice during his 14-year Red Wings career along with other numerous awards, was recently inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Prior to the game, there were special giveaways for the fans in attendance in honor of Datsyuk, who also dropped the ceremonial first puck.

Datsyuk, who was a rookie on the 2001-02 Stanley Cup-winning team and played on a line with Brett Hull, had a special message of thanks as he looked back on his special memories.

Brett Hull is great player, I learn lots from him. Just throw puck to where he is and he will take care of it.

But when I play first year, we have unbelievable team and I can learn everyday from anybody. I can turn left, learn, turn right, learn.

Lots of great players and they have patience with me and explain things to me, even though I don't understand English. This is appreciated.

Datsyuk played on a line with Hull and Boyd Devereaux, which Hull jokingly termed the "Two Kids and a Goat" line.

In the past, Hull has been vocal in his praise of Datsyuk, at one point even calling him "the sickest player" he'd ever seen.

It's Yzerman, it's Shanahan, it's Fedorov, it's Larionov, and all of a sudden this kid shows up at Training Camp, Pavel Datsyuk.

They put me with him, he doesn't speak English, but he was the sickest player I'd ever seen in my life.
