Red Wings might be after a familiar face this off-season
The Red Wings might be looking to sign free agent Tyler Bertuzzi this summer as his one year contract with the Leafs has expired.
Bertuzzi spent the majority of his career in Detroit before being trade to Boston at the deadline last season. In the off-season, Bertuzzi decided to sign a one year deal with the Leafs.
It looks like the Wings would be interested in signing Bertuzzi this summer as he is exactly what they are missing up front. The Wings need to add some net front presence in the offense zone while adding some toughness to their line up too. These are two things that Bertuzzi surely can help with.
It will be interesting to see if Bertuzzi ends up signing with the Wings in the off-season and if so, for how much.
