Oshawa Generals legend and his wife passed away at 42 after horrible crime

Patrick Montgomery, a cherished figure in the Oshawa Generals community, passed away at 42, alongside Andrieana Montgomery.
A 30-year-old man faces murder charges for fatally shooting them on Saturday at 12:35 p.m. police responded, finding Andrieana deceased at the scene, while Patrick succumbed en route to the hospital. The shooter was known to both victims.
Patrick played three seasons with the Oshawa Generals (1999-2002), scoring 18 goals and 20 assists. Condolences to their families, and may justice prevail with the shooter facing life in jail.
