Ovechkin makes big career decision
NHL legend Alex Ovechkin has announced that he will likely finish his playing career in the KHL.
Ovechkin still has two years left of his contract with the Capitals, this season was one of his most disanointing ones as he only had 65 points in 79 games including 31 goals. However he is only 41 goals away from breaking Gretzky's 894 goal record in the NHL which he will more than likely accomplish over the next two season.
Dynamo Moscow assistant coach Vladimir Fedosov said in an interview this week that Ovechkin plans on finishing his career in Russia which would likely be with Moscow since he played for them during the lockout.
If Ovechkin is able to break Gretzky's record before his contract is up, there is a high likely hood he will leave the NHL in two years.
