Sergei Berezin passes away at 52
The NHL Alumni Association reported that Sergei Berezin, a former player for the Toronto Maple Leafs, has passed away at the age of 52.
Berezin was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 10th round in 1994. He played five years with the Maple Leafs before continuing his career with the Arizona Coyotes, Montréal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, and Washington Capitals, amassing 286 points over 502 regular-season games.
