Angry Detroit Red Wings fans demand Derek Lalonde's job after latest lethargic loss
After yet another frustrating, lethargic loss by the Detroit Red Wings, fans are continuing to demand major changes to their team before it's too late for this year.
Another day, another lethargic loss for the Detroit Red Wings.
Detroit was outplayed and outshot by a wide margin against the Philadelphia Flyers in last night's game, and despite the best efforts of goaltender Cam Talbot, there was only so much he could do.
At one point, he had stopped all 27 shots the Flyers had fired on him (while his teammates had managed just 11 at the same time) before he was finally beaten by Scott Laughton in the 2nd period.....it was the first of what would be four goals on the night for him.
And after watching Talbot give the only notable effort of the night while his teammates left him completely out to dry, angry Red Wings fans continued their chorus of demanding that GM Steve Yzerman make a coaching change and replace Derek Lalonde.
The players obviously have to perform but sometimes the efforts just look awful and that's on him. Unacceptable
