The Detroit Red Wings have announced a roster move in the immediate aftermath of their frustrating 5-1 loss to the divisional foe Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

Things didn't go the Detroit Red Wings' way on Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning, as they were defeated 5-1 despite outshooting their divisional foes by a near 2-1 margin.

The Red Wings have now lost twice in regulation in their last 3 games, which included a 6-3 loss to the San Jose Sharks earlier in the week at Little Caesars Arena.

Goaltender Ville Husso started against the Sharks and had a poor outing in what was his 1st start in exactly a month.

And speaking of Husso, the Red Wings announced that he was returned to the Grand Rapids Griffins following Saturday's loss.

Cam Talbot started against the Lightning but was pulled after allowing 5 goals on 16 shots; he was replaced by Alex Lyon, who will get the start when the Red Wings play the Dallas Stars on Sunday (8:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).

It was an unusually poor outing for Talbot, who was the top start of the night for the Red Wings during Thursday's win over the Panthers; he made 42 saves as the Red Wings shut down the defending Stanley Cup champions on their home ice.

Barring injury, should Ville Husso spend the rest of the year in with the Grand Rapids Griffins?
