The Detroit Red Wings have the 2nd longest postseason drought in the NHL, and things aren't getting any easier for them looking at their remaining schedule.

New head coach Todd McLellan has been a revelation for the Detroit Red Wings, leading them to a 15-5-1 mark since taking over behind the bench for the fired Derek Lalonde on December 26.
The Red Wings are currently in a postseason position; they'd qualify for the playoffs as a Wild Card team if the year ended today.
But if the Red Wings are to finally end their postseason drought which stretches back to 2017, it's going to be a difficult task.
According to Slap Shot, , the Red Wings have the toughest strength of schedule for the rest of the year.
With an extended break and draft picks/playoff spots/division seeding on the line, I thought it'd be fun to take a look at where teams rank in terms of how hard their remaining schedules are.

For clarification, 1 is the hardest schedule remaining and 32 is the easiest, hence the red and green color indicators. Rankings are via «Tankathon».

Thoughts?

Of their 27 remaining games, 15 of them are away from Little Caesars Arena.
Aside from Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond, who are playing in the 4 Nations Faceoff, the Red Wings are off until February 22.
Larkin and Raymond along with Patrick Kane are players who have experienced a rejuvenation under McLellan, who has brought new life to a franchise that was tied for last place in the Eastern Conference at the Christmas break.
Thanks to what McLellan has been able to get out of the Red Wings, he could potentially be up for the Jack Adams Trophy as the top coach of the year.
