Mazur pressed to excel in time for AHL playoffs
The Red Wings could have a potential star amongst them if Mazur can take on the challenge of excelling going into the AHL playoffs. While some have compared Mazur to Bertuzzi the NHL has made it clear they don't like to compare players as each of them are unique and what they bring to the table so to speak can not be replicated.
Mazure is already off to a great start with his playing style and points he has racked up. Mazur is the appropriate age and likes to fight hard when he is closest to the net. Some fans think that if he continues to target the net he will succeed at scoring goals.
The Detroit Red Wings have insisted that the AHL team have playoff experience before transferring from the AHL to the NHL and this seems to be a motivation for AHL players to develop further and be at their best during their time in the AHL. The pressure to succeed is definitely there for Mazure and while he is a great candidate for the red wings, there are several players the Red Wings have been eyeing as potential candidates in the NHL next season.
The Red Wings future looks promising, as they continue to watch how their AHL team successfully trains, grows and transforms players. Who will the Red wings Elect for the future season? We will have to wait and see, Mazur could be the next rising star in Detroit.
