Despite reported rumours of alleged problems in the Bruins locker room between top players, they are angrily pushing back on those reports, saying they're false.

The Detroit Red Wings weren't the only Atlantic Division club who made a notable coaching change this year.

Their divisional foe Boston Bruins parted ways with Jim Montgomery, who led them to 65 victories just 2 years ago, and named associate coach Joe Sacco their new interim coach.

But the Bruins have yet to discover the spark that's made them one of the better and more dangerous teams in the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference the last several years.

And now, reports surfaced of a rumoured rift in the locker room between captain Brad Marchand and top sniper David Pastrnak.

According to the Jones & Keefe Podcast, there are significant issues in the Bruins room:

The locker room is a disaster, and David Pastrnak is at the center of that. David Pastrnak has told the team he doesn't want to be on a line with Brad Marchand, and it may stem from Brad Marchand calling out Pastrnak for some of his play.

But the Bruins in question immediately have pushed back on that rumour, starting with Pastrnak:

I've never in my life said I don't want to play with this guy to the coaching staff or management and I never would. I love playing with Marchy. I've been playing with him for so long

Marchand then described himself and Pastrnak as the best of friends:

The Red Wings are 0-1-1 against the Bruins so far this year.
