The Red Wings might be looking at a tough season in 2024-25
The Red Wings are currently looking at bringing in a few promising prospects to the lineup next season which is positive for the future might be negative for next season.
Simon Edvinsson, Albert Johansson and Jonatan Berggren will all likely make the team next year. This means that they will have 3 rookies and most of thee time younger players are still learning and tend to make mistakes.
Younger players make more mistakes, and the margin of error for Detroit to qualify for the post season is small.
Since the Red Wings will have a younger roster while also likely losing Patrick Kane and Shayne Gostisbehere, the team's powerplay will also suffer.
