This former Red Wings player could be a target of the Bruins
Overall, the Boston Bruins are in need of some depth, and former Detroit Red Wings player Dominik Kubalik could very well be a solid option.
Back in 2022-23, Kubalik was a stud for the Red Wings as he notched 20 goals and 45 points. However, last season, he played for the Ottawa Senators and was abysmal. It was not what the fans wanted to see and he only managed 15 points and 11 goals in a total of 74 games.
However, as Michael Derosa of The Hockey News explains, Kubalik could be a good candidate for a PTO of sorts.
"Given Kubalik's past success and the Bruins' need for more depth on the wing, he could be a good player for them to bring in on a PTO. Perhaps he could be another success story like last year's PTO recipient,
Danton Heinen."
Only time will tell whether or not the Bruins make this move. Until then, stay tuned to Red Wings Insider for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
