Its no secret that drafting in the fourth can often be a crap shoot. With much of the high end talent already being selected, we rarely see fourth round picks become NHL starters, let alone legends. But this wasn't the case for Sergei Federov. At the time, Federov was the highest draft pick out of any Soviet player entering North America. But later that year, hockey enthusiasts would be witness to one of the greatest players ever to grace the NHL.
