Former NHL enforcer Donald Brashear, who was best known for the use of his fists rather than offense, has been arrested for a shocking reason.

Former National Hockey League enforcer Donald Brashear made a living during his career mostly using his fists and strong frame to intimidate the opposition.
However, he's reportedly been arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman and is currently being held at the Quebec Detention Center.

Translated to English:
Donald Brashear was arrested for assaulting a woman. He was charged, then pleaded not guilty.

He is therefore currently being held in the Quebec detention center according to my sources.

He is currently said to be in protective custody and away from other inmates.
During his NHL career, Brashear played for the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals, and New York Rangers before moving overseas to play for Modo Hockey in Sweden.
He is perhaps best known for one of the most shocking on-ice incidents in NHL history when he was slashed in the head by Boston Bruins forward Marty McSorley during a 2000 game while with the Canucks.
McSorely was indefinitely suspended and was eventually charged with assault with a weapon; he never played in the NHL again.
