Serving as Vice Chair of the Michigan LGBTQ+ Commission, Brandon plays a crucial role in closing the gap between the community and government. Being under Governor Gretchen Whitmer's executive order, the commission focuses on advancing policies and initiatives that support LGBTQ+ rights and needs across the state.
In addition to his governmental role, Brandon is deeply involved with Stonewall Sports Detroit, where he serves as Commissioner. This nonprofit organization promotes inclusivity with recreational sports leagues like kickball, volleyball and bowling. These leagues not only provide opportunities for physical activity but also raise funds for local nonprofits.
