Lindholm about to sign with a rival of the Vancouver Canucks?
It seems like Elias Lindholm's time with the Canucks didn't quite meet expectations since he's about to become UFA.
Despite some time in Vancouver, Lindholm's playoff performance has likely helped create interest from several NHL teams, with the Boston Bruins emerging as potential frontrunners, according to David Pagnotta's report on The Fourth Period.
"Chatter over the Boston Bruins and their interest in signing soon-to-be unrestricted free agent centre Elias Lindholm is getting louder and louder," Pagnotta said.
The Bruins apparently have a keen interest in Lindholm, even predating his brief tenure with the Canucks. Lindholm's solid playoff performance, where he scored ten points in 13 games, seems to have reinforced Boston's interest in acquiring him. As free agency approaches on Monday at 12 pm ET, it'll be interesting to see if the Bruins move to secure Lindholm's services, especially given their prior pursuit of him.
Should the Detroit Red Wings kick tire with him?
