Montreal Canadiens and Los Angeles Kings just made a trade and swap their first-round pick
Montreal Canadiens GM Kent Hughes has just aggressively moved up in the 2024 NHL draft. Does this move hide another trade that will permit the Montreal Canadiens to have two top-10 picks?
The Canadiens are parting ways with an additional second-round pick and seventh-round pick to move up five spots in the first round.
The draft will take place tonight, and the Canadiens will now pick 5th overall and 21st overall.
