NHL Agent Allan Walsh goes after Gary Bettman and the NHL
NHL agent Allan Walsh represents many stars such as Marc-Andre Fleury, Jonathan Drouin and David Perron, the agent has been vocal over the past few years of his opinion regarding how the NHL is ran.
After news broke that the Capitals were purchasing the site CapFriendly and shutting it down, Walsh spoke of how the NHL should have purchased the site to integrate it into NHL.com so that fans have access to all this information. Walsh also said there is no league that stands up their fans as much as the NHL.
No league consistently stands their fans up and kicks them in the balls like the NHL. If CapFriendly were for sale, the league should have bought it and incorporated it into http://NHL.com. This ain't rocket science (except for some people I guess).
Walsh also went after commissioner Gary Bettman as well saying that only 10 years ago the NHL's salary cap was above the NBA and due to poor management, the NBA has since eclipsed the NHL.
Remember a time when the NHL salary cap was higher than the NBA's? Tell me again what a great job Gary's done in growing hockey revenues.
Clearly Walsh is not a fan of how Bettman and the NHL has been running things as he has been voicing his displeasure on social media over the past few years.
