Utah Hockey Club are exploring a trade for Victor Söderström following recent defenseman additions like Mikhail Sergachev.
The Utah Hockey Club, a new and ambitious NHL organization, is reportedly considering trading defenseman Victor Söderström.
Drafted 11th overall in 2019 by the Arizona Coyotes, Söderström has struggled to secure an NHL role, playing only 53 games with 12 points. Despite his limited NHL experience, he had a strong AHL season with 32 points in 62 games. With recent additions like John Marino and Mikhail Sergachev, Utah deems Söderström expendable.
The team is open to re-signing him but is actively exploring trade options to bolster their roster further.
