A 1000-game forward on the market for the Pittsburgh Penguins?
The Pittsburgh Penguins are reportedly on the verge of trading 1,000-game NHL veteran Lars Eller to acquire another top-nine forward.
Several teams have shown interest in Eller, and the Penguins will likely move him if it helps bring in a new player.
With 178 goals and 224 assists in 1,036 career games, Eller had 15 goals and 16 assists in all 82 games for the Penguins last season. The Penguins are looking for a strong return for Eller, with forward Ondřej Kae being a potential target. Edmonton and Pittsburgh are among the teams inquiring about Kae, who played last season in Czechia.
Since the departure of David Perron and others, a player like Lars Eller could be excellent in the Red Wings Top-9.
Do you think Steve Yzerman should pursue him?
