A look at how Pavel Datsyuk finished a goalie' career
Back in 2003, Pavel Datsyuk made this incredible goal that changed Marty Turco's career forever.
On November 12th, the Wings finished the game 6-2 versus the Dallas Stars. On top of having a 4 goals differential, the Wing superstar decide to embarrassed the Star' goalie with this goal.
This was the start of the season. He ultimately played 75 games, with 68 points. Even with multiple injuries, the Red Wings still managed to win the President Trophy with 109 points. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by the Calgary Flames in the Western Conference semifinals. Datsyuk played for Detroit his whole career and retired in 2015-2016. He won the Stanley Cup twice (2002-2008). He is known for his unbelievable skills with the puck and made highlights that we still watch today.
On the end, the Dallas Stars lost also in the conference Semi finals against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
One thing for sure, we will always remember this highlight as a Red Wings Fan.
