Detroit Red Wings confirm starting goaltender for matinee matchup vs. Kraken

The Red Wings are back at it this afternoon against the Seattle Kraken at Little Caesars Arena, and have confirmed the lineup as they go for their 7th-straight win.

The Detroit Red Wings are aiming for their 7th-straight victory this afternoon as the Seattle Kraken come to Little Caesars Arena for the 1st time this year (3:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).

And while the lineup will remain the same as Friday night's win over the Chicago Blackhawks, many have wondered whether or not the look in the crease would also remain the same.

As you remember, Alex Lyon was hurt earlier in the week in Detroit's 3-2 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators, and had to be replaced by Cam Talbot.

Talbot led the Red Wings to victory over the Blackhawks, and he'll get the chance to once again do so this afternoon.
