Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond has joined elite franchise company
Despite the struggles of the Detroit Red Wings, one bright spot has been the play of Lucas Raymond, and he's joined elite company.
It may have taken Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond a while to get going in terms of scoring goals, though he had no problem dishing out the assists.
In his last 11 games, Raymond has scored nine goals and helped give the Red Wings a chance to win; unfortunately, not many of his teammates are helping him out in terms of scoring goals.
But because of his recent scoring exploits, Raymond now finds himself in some select Red Wings company.
Per NHL Network, Raymond is now on a list for most multi-point games before turning 23 years old (a total of 51) alongside Steve Yzerman (105 games), Marcel Dionne (67 games), Gordie Howe (67 games), Sergei Fedorov (62 games), and Dale McCourt (51 games).
He also recently picked up the 200th career point of his career in an overtime loss against the Bruins in which he netted a pair of goals:

Several players that the Detroit Red Wings signed specifically to be able to rely on them for offense are not performing.
J.T. Compher hasn't scored since October 27, a span of 20 games. While Andrew Copp did score twice against the Sabres on Monday, he had previously gone 18 games without a goal.
Additionally, future Hall of Fame forward Patrick Kane hasn't even remotely resembled the player he was last year when he scored at nearly a point-per-game pace.
He hasn't registered a single point since November 13, a span of 10 games.
