Detroit Red Wings Offer Tribute to Johnny Gaudreau Upon Stadium Series Arrival

The Red Wings are going viral for their decision on what to wear for their arrival at the 2025 NHL Stadium Series, where they will face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau are both deeply missed in the hockey world ever since their passing this past August, and the tributes continue to pour in.

The Red Wings, filled with former teammates of Gaudreau on Team USA and throughout the NHL, hit it out of the park and it's catching everyone's attention.

As they arrived at 3:30 p.m at the Ohio State Stadium entrance, they donned Johnny Hockey jerseys in heartfelt fashion.

This is very nice to see as the parents of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau will be in attendance for tonight's game, and they will be leading the Columbus Blue Jackets team onto the ice before puck drop.

The Blue Jackets also honored the Gaudreau brothers in a very emotional way, being led into the arena by two little ones, which are to be believed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's sons.

They also wore Johnny's signature game day fit, of a greyish-blue sweater, and a black top.
