The Detroit Red Wings' captain Dylan Larkin did not mince his words when discussing the Michigan Ohio State rivalry before a highly anticipated Stadium Series matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.

The Detroit Red Wings are in the midst of a major playoff push, sitting tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL Eastern Conferences Wild Card race, with 66 points each.
The two teams faced off on February 27th in Detroit, and it certainly was not the outcome that the Red Wings expected.
Detroit was dealt a 2-5 loss after the Blue Jackets scored four goals in the second period, and now they seek revenge in front of their biggest crowd and stage of the year.

Dylan Larkin delivers shot to Ohio State's' stadium

After facing backlash from Todd McLellan due to poor play, forward Dylan Larkin has a fire lit under him, and his comments certainly confirm that.
Larkin was asked about the stadium that they are playing in, a historic venue, which many praise upon.
The captain decided to let his true feelings be known, and sent a clear message to Columbus sports fans on their iconic venue.
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin (and importantly, former Wolverine) in good mood after practicing at Ohio Stadium ahead of game against CBJ: "Probably the ugliest stadium I've ever been in."
Let's just say Columbus sports fans did not take this lightly, with hundreds flooding social media due to alleged 'disrespect' from the Red Wings' captain.
One fan even stated that Larkin 'shaves his legs'.
Hundreds of others poured in, but are too profound to show.
Larkin and the Red Wings are currently 7-2-1 in their last 10 games played, and tonight could ensure a further advantage at making the playoffs in front of 90,000 fans, at the 'ugliest stadium' Dylan Larkin has ever been in.
With important playoff points on the line, who do you think will pull out with the win?
