The incident took place just before the Gaudreau brothers' sister's wedding.
Dylan Larkin, a close friend of Johnny Gaudreau, has expressed deep sorrow. The two players, who first teamed up in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey and later at multiple World Championships, shared a strong bond.
