Hockey fans everywhere are talking after scene with Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon this morning

Canada started the 4 Nations Faceoff on the right foot, winning 4-3 in overtime over Sweden; Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner scored the winner in a building that he's not normally well received in, as Bell Centre is home to Toronto's divisional foe Montreal Canadiens.

Teammates Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche, who helped combine for Canada's 1st goal against Sweden, were reportedly the final players conducting media sessions late into the night - and then were the 1st two players on the ice at practice this morning.

These guys are absolute beasts and give Canada a major advantage when it comes to competitiveness and preparation.

MacKinnon, Crosby and the rest of the Canadian team will take on the Americans on Saturday.

Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond was one of a pair of Detroit players along with Dylan Larkin who were chosen to compete in the 4 Nations Faceoff.

While Raymond and Sweden fell just short to Canada, Raymond still picked up a pair of assists and was named the game's 3rd Star.
