Huge opportunity for the Detroit Red Wings
The Nashville Predators are reportedly finalizing an 8-year contract extension with goaltender Juuse Saros, expected to have an average annual value (AAV) of $7.74 million.
Meanwhile, Yaroslav Askarov, the Predators excellent goalie prospect, has posted a cryptic message on Instagram suggesting he may seek a move elsewhere despite initially being seen as Nashville's future goaltender. At 22 years old, Askarov, drafted 11th overall in 2020, has potential NHL options or could consider opportunities in Russia if his path with the Predators doesn't align.
Do you think he could be the Red Wings' savior in net for next season?
