With their 3rd-round pick, the 80th overall pick, the Detroit Red Wings have taken the two-way Cougar forward Ondrej Becher.
Becher had an explosive second season with the Cougars, making 32 goals and 64 assists for 94 points in 58 games.
He also scored 10 points in 7 games at the World Juniors with the Czech team.
