The Detroit Red Wings selected LW Max Plante, a tenacious playmaker from Hermantown, Minnesota, with the 47th pick of the 2nd-round in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Committed to Minnesota-Duluth, Plante, son of ex-NHLer Derek Plante, is known for his exceptional passing, defensive value, and high ceiling. He has scored 90 points in 75 games.
