Utah makes another splash on the trade market
The Utah HC have acquired defenseman John Marino from the New Jersey Devils in a trade.
Only minutes after acquiring Mikhail Sergachev from the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Utah Hockey Club and general manager Bill Armstrong traded for John Marino from the New Jersey Devils.
The New Jersey Devils acquired the 49th overall pick and the Edmonton Oilers' second-round pick in 2025.
This is an absolute splash for the Utah Hockey Club as they have acquired what could be an elite defensive pairing in Mikhail Sergachev and John Marino. Clearly, the team is looking to make the playoffs, and it seems like it could happen.
