Injury update on Red Wings top prospect Dower-Nilsson
One of the Red Wings top prospect Noah Dower-Nilsson has had a rough go with injuries recently as it he is coming off his second shoulder surgery.
Dower-Nilsson has gone through the surgery and is set to be ready to return to the ice in August which hopefully will all go as scheduled.
The young prospect recently spoke with the media saying that it is tough to re-injure a shoulder that had just gotten repaired, especially when the rest of his body feels so good.
«That shoulder injury was very tough because I had just come back from the first surgery,» Dower-Nilsson told The Hockey News. «And I feel that I played very good hockey and feel my body and everything that feels so good. So it was tough.»
Hopefully this second surgery will truly fix his issues but with this many problems at such a young age, it does not look promising for the Wings.
