Red Wings fans who can't attend the Stadium Series game in Columbus, you'll get a chance to see the special sweaters they'll be wearing on a pair of dates at home!
For the 1st time since 2017, the Detroit Red Wings are taking things outside and will be taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ohio Stadium this Saturday.
It marks the 5th time that the Red Wings will be playing on an outdoor sheet of ice at a venue normally reserved for either professional baseball or football - and in this case, college football.
And as is tradition, they'll be wearing special sweaters for the occasion. But for fans disappointed that they won't get to see the Red Wings wear them by attending the game in person, you'll have a handful of additional opportunities to do so.
The Red Wings announced they'll be wearing the same sweaters they'll be donning this Saturday in Columbus for their home games at Little Caesars Arena on March 4 and 12.

The sweaters and gear are now for sale inside the Little Caesars Arena team store from 12-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and during games beginning Thursday night.

Tonight, the Red Wings take on the Blue Jackets in Detroit in what will be the 1st game of the home and home series that concludes on Saturday evening at Ohio Stadium, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes of the NCAA.
