Red Wings release classic-style uniform design for Stadium Series game vs. Blue Jackets

The Detroit Red Wings are taking things outdoors in March against the Blue Jackets, and they've released a classic-looking uniform design for the game.
For the first time since 2017, the Detroit Red Wings are participating in an outdoor game; they'll be playing the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ohio Stadium, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
And ahead of the matchup, they've released their uniform design.
The game, which will be the NHL's 43rd overall matchup outdoors, is scheduled to take place on March 1.
The Red Wings last played outside against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto in January 2017 for the Centennial Classic.
Detroit has also participated in the Stadium Series against the Colorado Avalanche in February 2016, hosted the Winter Classic at Michigan Stadium against the Maple Leafs in January 2014, and took on the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2nd NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field in January 2009.
