The Detroit Red Wings are set to return to Traverse City next month as they prepare for the upcoming NHL season.

The team's annual training camp will take place from September 19 to 22, providing an essential opportunity for players to get into shape and coaches to assess the talent. This year's camp will be preceded by a prospects tournament, featuring a two-game series against the Dallas Stars on September 14 and 15 at Centre Ice.
Excitement is building around who will attend the camp. While there were reports that high-end European prospects Axel Sandin-Pellikka and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard would participate, it appears that Sandin-Pellikka may remain in Sweden instead of joining the Wings.
This decision is notable, as it's uncommon for top European prospects to attend NHL camps early in their careers. The tournament and training camp will be crucial in setting the tone for the Wings' preseason, which begins on September 25.
