Former hated Red Wings rival Peter Forsberg is loving Lucas Raymond

Ex-Colorado Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg, one of Detroit's biggest former rivals, is loving what he sees from Lucas Raymond.
Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond was one of a pair of Detroit player selected to compete in the 4 Nations Faceoff; the other was captain Dylan Larkin, who scored the game winner for the Americans in Saturday night's upset 3-1 win over Canada.
Raymond and the Swedes then handed Larkin and the Americans their 1st loss of the 4 Nations Faceoff last night in Boston.
Raymond lead all Swedes in scoring with 3 assists, including a pair of helpers in their opening 4-3 loss to Canada.
Former Detroit nemesis Peter Forsberg, one of the top players on the Colorado Avalanche during the heyday of the famed Red Wings-Avalanche rivalry, had the following to say about Raymond, translated from Swedish:
He has grown in and become a superstar in a way. He is not afraid of five cents, somewhere on the ice. He takes care of himself. He doesn't look at who is behind him, but he drives on. He does good things, he comes from the corners.
Raymond is on pace for a new career-best in points with the Red Wings this year, his 1st after signing a lengthy 8-year contract extension during training camp.
Peter Forsberg was a hated rival with the Avalanche
Forsberg, who actually came to the Quebec Nordiques (who later re-located and became the Avalanche) as a part of the infamous Eric Lindros trade with the Philadelphia Flyers, was one of the main components of the iconic Red Wings-Avalanche rivalry.
He scored several huge goals against Detroit, especially in the postseason.
