Shot's fired by Tkachuk to Edmonton fans
The Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in an excellent game seven to become the 2024 Stanley Cup Champions in the NHL.
Following the game, Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk made a reference to his days with the Calgary Flames, taking a playful jab at the city of Edmonton. Tkachuk, who scored 22 points throughout the journey to the Stanley Cup victory, left a strong impression despite not recording any points in game seven.
With this win, an American team has clinched the Stanley Cup for 31 consecutive years. The Oilers will certainly return next year with a vengeance.
