The Red Wings didn't maintain any offensive zone pressure or get any high percentage shots during overtime against the Flyers, who won 2-1 and earned both points.

Playing in Philadelphia has been a house of horrors for the Detroit Red Wings in the last 2.5 decades, as they've won just two games against the Flyers away from Detroit since the start of 1997-98.
That trend continued this year, as the Flyers took the season series from the Red Wings with their 2-1 overtime win win at Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen jammed the puck fully over the goal line after it sat motionless for what seemed like an eternity:
Ben Chiarot scored in regulation for the Red Wings, while Andrew Copp blew a glorious opportunity right on the doorstep in the waning seconds of regulation.
The Red Wings nearly had a chance to win the game when Patrick Kane broke in alone on goaltender Samuel Ersson from in close, only to have the puck bounce off his stick and harmlessly wide of the net.
Red Wings fans were not exactly in a loving mood after losing yet again in the City of Brotherly Love.
SO MANY BLOWN OPPORTUNITIES

Kane you are a legend to the game but you have to bury that shot.

Back in the skid. It's the Detroit style to build up hopes and dreams and then smash them to pieces.

a week ago Kane wins that in the 3rd on that chance, or hits one of the 2 OT chances. demoting guys to 4th line for mistakes can shake the confidence. coach reaps what he sows.

Awful loss. I don't care about one point. Wings blew the chance for a road win and a 2-2 road trip.

The wings should trade Andrew Copp and retain 100% of his salary just so we don't have to watch him in the winged wheel ever again
