Lost during the ruckus of last night's Detroit Red Wings OT loss to the Boston Bruins was Nikita Zadorov delivering a dirty cross check to Lucas Raymond's back.

While the bad news for the Detroit Red Wings was the fact that they fell for the ninth time in the last 13 games, the good news is that forward Lucas Raymond is heating up.

He scored twice during last night's overtime loss against the Boston Bruins, account for both Detroit goals.

However, there was one play during the game that not only drew the ire of the Red Wings, but has resulted in the guilty party on Boston's side trying to continue the confrontation afterward.

Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov delivered a dirty cross check to Raymond's back, an infraction that went unpenalized (much like David Pastrnak's controversial non-call on Alex DeBrincat in overtime).

Just seconds earlier, Zadorov also slashed Raymond across the hand, which was noticed by the officials.

But Zadorov is taking things a step further, leveling a bizarre accusation against Raymond of being "disrespectful".

I don't like when the guy's shaking his hand. I barely touch his hand, so I think that's got to get out of the league.

It's a man's league. We all get slashed. We're all in pain.

But you don't go like this and show the referee that you get slashed. So I think it's just a little bit disrespectful.

Gee Nikita, if you don't want a player shaking his hand for a split second in pain, then maybe don't slash him with your stick as if you were attempting to chop down a redwood tree.
